Goodbye Mr. Akira Toriyama

It was shocking and heart-breaking this morning, after seeing the article about Mr. Akira Toriyama's passing.

Mr. Akira Toriyama, creator of DragonballZ, Dr. Slump, Go! Go! Ackman and many other great titles and art.

DragonballZ was the first action manga I read when I was around 7-8 years old. Back then I wasn't really drawing much yet and I just enjoyed reading manga and watching anime & cartoons. I remembered I bought DragonballZ book 1 from a local bookstore near my place and it just got me hooked.

DragonballZ stories evolved along as I grew up, from the comedic Master Roshi, to the ruthless Freiza and Cell, he had drew and created various interesting plots and characters in the 325 chapters.

I started (trying to) drawing comic when I was around 10, when I thought to myself, what if the story had a different direction? I can remember which part of the story was that, but I took an A5 exercise book and started drawing my own version of Dragonball Z. I probably didn't notice it then but I started drawing more since and that's when my interests for comic and cartoon drawing began.

Thank you Mr. Akira Toriyama for creating great contents and inspiring me to an Artist.

I hope one day I will be able to achieve 10% of his talents and hard work.
